Internships at Evolve provide broad exposure across multiple product and service categories. You will be actively involved in live project work - ranging from tactical product-to-market projects to strategic design programs focused on future innovation.

Internships at Evolve

We don’t believe in ‘intern’ projects. At Evolve, you are a member of the team from day one. You’ll work alongside other Designers and our Creative Directors. And you will have a mentor by your side to guide you as you grow into your role.

We partner interns with one dedicated team member to help you on your journey as a designer on our team. Your mentor will guide you through challenges and answer questions. They will work with you to develop and achieve your professional goals.

We are proud to call ourselves generalists, and we’ll do our best to offer you a range of experiences across varying projects and teams. Our team works across many industries and categories including healthcare, finance, outdoors/active, technology, education, and more.

We believe in a good work-life balance and we don't expect our team to be working late every night. We are a friendly, laid back group and we love to eat lunch together, listen to music in the studio, and escape to the coast for the occasional surf session. Once a month, we set aside time to hang out with each other, share recent projects, and say cheers to a job well done.

Yes, we are a group of creatives that flourish working together side by side. We know this isn’t for everyone but we are social, analog, like to mentor in the moment, and are drawn to being a small community. It’s more enjoyable. But we're flexible! We spend Monday-Thursday in the studio and Fridays are optional WFH.

How to apply for an internship
To apply, you must have relevant design and/or professional experience, be currently enrolled in, or be a recent graduate an of accredited university in Industrial Design, Communications Design, UX Design, or Design Research/Strategy.
You must attach a portfolio, process samples, or link to a personal website that demonstrates your experience in design. We would love for you to submit a cover letter that describes your goals for your internship with us, and a current resume (CV).
